Fifty years of friendship and counting. 🌟 A few Fifty years of friendship and counting. 🌟 A few months ago, I was asked to be a relationship expert. I kind of chuckled because, to be honest, you're looking at my longest non-blood related relationship. And these kinds of relationships really matter! For those who've read my book, “Too Happy to be Sad Girl,” THIS is Annette – my partner in crime through it all: - 70s dress-up and TV-inspired games - 80s roommate (I'll leave it at that... iykyk) - 90s and early 2000s chaos of kids, schedules, and business Thank goodness for God, faith, and the pursuit of peace through truth-telling and tears. I planned to isolate, write, and heal in Tulum, but Annette's SOS changed everything. Healing alongside her reminded me that healthy relationships don't drain you – somehow, they recharge you. Instead of isolation, I chose exchange. Instead of writing, I chose play. My test retreat is days away. I'm tired but so light, confident that I am who I say I am. Life is good, and I'm savoring every bite. #friendship #healthyrelationships
