The first thing we should talk about it the definition of the Law of Attraction. Or more specifically, what it means to me. The law of attraction (LOA) is the belief that the universe creates and provides for you what you are focused on. People who study and practice LOA, believe that it is possible to manifest dreams to reality by using a variety of techniques. The most powerful of these techniques, are to use the manipulation of thought patterns. Perhaps you have heard the terms “like always attracts like” or “your vibe attracts your tribe.” There are some people that think LOA is only about thought but I believe in a body, mind a spirit connection so for me, manifesting my desires is definitely about focus but more than just thought. My practice of the LOA is about connecting action to thoughts and feelings.

I have been interested in the Law of Attraction for over a decade. When I first started my journey into mindset transformation, there were some amazing people speaking on the subject but not too many looked like me. Truth be told, wisdom can come from anywhere but it’s also nice to feel connected on a cultural level. And considering so much of the wisdom shared is actually FROM multicultural sources, it’s nice to see it owned, embraced and shared by those same sources. This is just a composition of some of some of the people I vibe with. It is not in any way complete…
This post contains affiliate links to products that I LOVE. I may receive a commission for purchases made through these links.
Number One: Don Miguel Ruiz. This is the author of a book that was life transforming for me. The Four Agreements is a tiny book that shares ancient Toltec wisdom. In this book, a simple yet powerful code of conduct can rapidly transform lives by offering a new experience of freedom, happiness, and love. When I read this book, I found that while the ideas were simple, the applications were more challenging.
Number Two: Lisa Nichols. Back in the day there was a movie called The Secret. At a time in my life when things seemed unbearable, I remember watching it over and over and even playing it while I slept. In this film, a beautiful and wise woman shared her thoughts on attraction. Her name was Lisa Nichols. Lisa is a motivational speaker and transformational coach, she is also a successful business woman. A few years ago I had the pleasure of attending one of her life changing seminars.
Number Three: Justin Perry. In 2009, as I worked by was through a debilitating time of depression, I was searching to find any thing to ease my pain and change my course. Youtube became an important source for growth. In 2012, I stumbled upon a channel that became a favorite. YOU ARE CREATORS was created by Justin Perry to share some incredible books, lectures and interviews. With almost 1.5 million subscribers, it’s pretty clear that I am not the only one watching.
Number Four: Matt Gil. It’s impossible to follow Lisa Nichols for any extended period of time without knowing who Matt Gil is. Matt has touched the lives of thousands of teens, families and entrepreneurs world-wide and served as an experienced coach & trainer for companies such as Disney, Six Flags, Red Robin International, Motivating The Teen Spirit & Motivating The Masses – a Lisa Nichols company. Matt has truly found his calling and answer to his prayers – the opportunity to turn his personal journey into a mission to help others live a life they love and empowering people to define, embrace and share their greatness with the world.
Number Five: The Love Gal. I recently discovered Amber in my Youtube feed and I just love her realnesss. This young woman is helping hundreds of people sharing what she believes in a way that is simple and relateable.
Number Five PLUS: Yung Pueblo. Diego Perez is a meditator, writer, and speaker who is widely known on Instagram and various social media networks through his pen name Yung Pueblo. Online he reaches hundreds of thousands of people every month through his written works that focus on the reality of self-healing, the movement from self-love to unconditional love, and the wisdom that comes when we truly work on knowing ourselves.
Again, this is not a complete list by a long shot. It’s just a way for me to share some of the people who I feel add to the quality of my life. That is the beauty of what an influencer does, sometimes without even knowing the impact they have. Much love on your journey of transformation.
