Fifty years of friendship and counting. 🌟 A few Fifty years of friendship and counting. 🌟 A few months ago, I was asked to be a relationship expert. I kind of chuckled because, to be honest, you're looking at my longest non-blood related relationship. And these kinds of relationships really matter! For those who've read my book, “Too Happy to be Sad Girl,” THIS is Annette – my partner in crime through it all: - 70s dress-up and TV-inspired games - 80s roommate (I'll leave it at that... iykyk) - 90s and early 2000s chaos of kids, schedules, and business Thank goodness for God, faith, and the pursuit of peace through truth-telling and tears. I planned to isolate, write, and heal in Tulum, but Annette's SOS changed everything. Healing alongside her reminded me that healthy relationships don't drain you – somehow, they recharge you. Instead of isolation, I chose exchange. Instead of writing, I chose play. My test retreat is days away. I'm tired but so light, confident that I am who I say I am. Life is good, and I'm savoring every bite. #friendship #healthyrelationships

Each lunar cycle offers a unique energy, and this new moon invites us to plant seeds for the future. 🫶🏽 Embrace a ritual.Rituals dont have to be linked to specific to a belief system in order to be effective. Regardless of what your personal beliefs or faith is, you can: Find a quiet space, light a candle, and connect within. With one hand on your heart and the other on your belly, breathe deeply and ask yourself about your deepest desires. What do you wish to manifest in 2024? A fulfilling career, a loving relationship, or perhaps, vibrant health? 💭 Feel the emotions as if your dreams are already a reality. Write down your positive intentions.
